KHCF Inaugurates its 15th Annual Summer Camp for KHCC Children

Amman, July 17, 2018 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) inaugurated its 15th annual summer camp for children receiving treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) amidst a joyful ambiance.

 

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nizar Mohammad, Deputy General Manager of Cairo Amman Bank (CAB), sponsor of the summer camp for the 12th consecutive year. The ceremony included cheerful songs for the children performed by Tony Kattan, putting smiles on their faces and creating an environment of joy.

On this occasion, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), thanked the Cairo Amman Bank for its ongoing support and sponsorship of this annual event adding, “The summer camp is one of the most important KHCC programs organized as part of its holistic approach towards its patients, as it caters to children’s psychological wellbeing as well as their physical healing process.”

The summer camp is scheduled to last one month and will engage one hundred patients daily with various activities, including sketches, magic tricks, music, games, face painting, excursions, clown shows and other fun and educational activities.
